Under Operation Sindoor, China openly supported Pakistan in the Indo-Pak conflict but still India became successful in Operation Sindoor.
After the success of Operation Sindoor, it has become necessary for India to look at the power shift taking place in this subcontinent.
When international and regional equations start changing in this manner, Indian foreign policy makers should try to take Indian politics in the right direction by making a strategic policy.
After the success of Operation Sindoor, the closeness between China and Pakistan is increasing which cannot be ignored by India because if the distance between China and Pakistan keeps decreasing then there are chances of a two front war arising for India.
Some defense experts say that even if India defeats Pakistan in small battles, it cannot be a permanent solution in the long run as long as Pakistan has the support of a nuclear capable country like China.
In the conflict between India and Pakistan, due to the defense support that Pakistan gets from China, there is not much difference left between India and Pakistan in military matters because Pakistan is supported by a country like China and in the recent conflict, countries like Turkey have also supported Pakistan and ignored India.
In the last few decades, China has made its military quite modern. However, the reason for modernizing its military is not to trouble India by supporting Pakistan, but by strengthening its military, China wants to establish its dominance in Taiwan and wants to stop America’s access.

China has provided its military with many modern sensors, electronic intelligence satellites, air-to-air missiles, advanced level fighter planes and has worked a lot on its intelligence unit. However, among all these parameters, it is very certain that some of these parameters would have been given to Pakistan as well.
It is absolutely clear that whatever assets the Pakistani military has, most of them have been provided by China.
In such a scenario, India should ignore America and NATO a little and increase its partnership with Russia in modern technology. Apart from this, it should try to advance its technology by combining its indigenous technology with Russia’s modern technology.
Some defense experts believe that India should try to focus on non-conventional war instead of joining the arms race with China.
In today’s major conflict scenario, along with conventional and nuclear war, the possibility of non-conventional war has also increased. In non-conventional warfare we can combine water security, information war and cyber security.
What is the reason for increasing closeness between Pakistan and China?
There are many reasons for the growing closeness between Pakistan and China, such as in the last few decades, America along with India has made many alliances to counter China.
For this reason, China also did not stay behind, when it saw the relationship between India and America getting stronger, it also started building a strong relationship with Pakistan.
America did not play a good role with India in the Indian Ocean region or in this subcontinent because America had no geo-political benefit in this region due to the growing aggression of China, so America did not provide any special help to India in this region.
America used India for its security and dominance in the Western Pacific Ocean. However, given the growing relationship between India and America, China did not take any such step in the Indian Ocean region which could not maintain the balance of power in this region.
China’s biggest geopolitical threat is its eastern seaboard, however India should try to improve its relations with China while maintaining a balanced relationship with Pakistan so that a balance of power is maintained in the region.
If we look at America, America is not at all interested in maintaining the balance of power in the Indian Ocean Region or in the entire subcontinent or in stopping Chinese aggression, therefore India should wisely take advantage of the international environment as per its balanced foreign policy while focusing on its domestic industrial technology and indigenous manufacturing.
It is absolutely true that in the coming times, America, China and Russia will make aggression to establish their dominance in Europe and the Western Pacific Ocean, but India should take advantage of this period and work on its future strategy.
However, there have been many occasions where India has benefited its people by using its strategic foreign policy. For example, during the Ukraine and Russia war, India bought oil from Russia at cheap rates and provided it to its people and also sold it to Western countries. Here, India used its intelligence and benefited itself and the people at the international level.
This step taken by India was also praised by our enemy country i.e. former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.
However, it can be said that ever since India gained independence, it has followed a policy of non-alignment, that is, we buy oil and weapons from Russia, but India has also formed a group like QUAD with America.
By becoming a member of a group like BRICS, India once again makes the policy of non-alignment meaningful.
